“Luckily, I never had to deal with heavy depression so there would be no reason to write a song like this. But when they told me our old friend, KT, took his life, I really felt something inexplicable in my guts, and I spent weeks wondering how he must have felt, what he was going through and why he never asked for help, not even to his closest friends. So when I wrote this song I tried to put myself in his shoes through empathy, to pay him a tribute and dedicate it to anybody who’s fighting these kind of battles silently”
